Hi everyone!
I know it's been awhile since I made an entry but I just finished
a run of Honk! Jr. Professional Performing Arts School
hooked up with The Salvation Army Theatre and created a summer musical
for all the folks that were involved with their camps to see. For
the last month we've been rehearsing for Honk!, a retelling of the
Ugly Duckling. (I know it sounds babyish but it's not.) It's a British
musical comedy that won the 2002 Olivier Award (The UK Tony). They
made a junior version of it that takes half the time. Anyway
I played Dot a military goose who is also a flight attendant. I'm
in this cute song called The Wild Goose Chase. We help the
Ugly Duckling, played by Nate Morgan, try to find his home. We,
the geese, are eventually shot down by hunters but we survive! So
that's what I've been doing all summer. If you want to hear
